An analysis of 89 studies so
far that examined the effect of fish and fish omega-3 fatty acid consumption
has shown that their cardiovascular protective data are not as convincing as it
is generally presented. According to British scientists, it is not responsible,
based on available data, to recommend the consumption of these fats and to
expect a reduction in the risk of heart attack or stroke in healthy people.
